With the largest Turkish-Jordanian investment, Jordan Phosphate and Turkey's Transpet sign an agreement to establish a phosphoric acid plant in Aqaba at a cost of $400 million

Today, Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority, the Jordan Phosphate Mines Company and the Turkish company "Transpet" signed an agreement to establish a joint plant for phosphoric acid (P2O5) in Aqaba at a cost of 400 million dollars and a production capacity of up to 300 thousand tons annually. This agreement is considered the largest Turkish-Jordanian investment and, for the first time, in the field of phosphate and phosphate fertilizers.
